Build a Robotic Arm Lessons

Hey there!

I posted another lesson today on my TPT Store! This time it is a set of two lessons plans that I have adapted and separated from my Robotics: Aren't They Just Toys? bundled lesson plans! These new lessons are tried and true with students from 3rd to 6th grade, but would work well into the high school years, too! They loved doing them and it allowed them to think of new creations! Every robotic arm is different and it is amazing to see their ideas come to life!

This is a set of lessons in which students work independently or in a small group to build a robotic arm. The individual lesson requires students to work independently to build a robotic arm for a friend with a Styrofoam allergy by taking the user's feelings and recommendations to build the arm. The group lesson uses an activity from tryengineering.com to build the robotic arm with limited supplies.

On TPT, this lesson is called Build a Robotic Arm Lessons - Group and Individual. Please take a peek at it, if you can, and let me know what you think!

This lesson can also be found bundled with 7 other lessons in Robotics: Aren't They Just Toys? An Introductory Robotics Unit.

Here is a sample page of the student worksheets and the rubric for scoring.

Enjoy!!!
